End of life care

We understand how hard it is to say goodbye to your much loved pet, and we are here to guide you through this process.

When and where to say goodbye

We will always do our best to accomodate your wishes, whether bringing your pet to the practice at a quieter time or if you prefer, we can visit you at home so you can be in familiar surroundings.

You can also request a particular vet or nurse to be present so you and your pet feel more relaxed and comfortable. It always helps to have a familar hand guiding you through this difficult time.

What happens after?

Once your pet has passed away, you can choose either home burial, or we can arrange their cremation at Whitley Brook Pet Crematorium. You can choose either individual cremation with ashes returned to you, or a communual cremation.

We can make all the arrangements after discussing the options with you.
