Bollington Vets Ltd is committed to providing the highest possible standard of care and attention to patients and their owners.  To assist us in providing this service, our Practice Terms and Conditions are shown below. If any points are unclear feel free to ask a member of staff to explain.

FEES
All fees include VAT at the current rate and are determined by the time spent on a case as well as according to the drugs, materials, consumables and diets used. Written estimates can be provided on request and remain valid for a period of one month, but please bear in mind that any estimate given can only be approximate as often a pets illness may not follow a conventional course.

If you are unable to cover the cost of the estimate then please discuss the matter with a member of staff prior treatment were the options available will be discussed and a formal contract entrered into before treatment is given.

Bollington Vets Ltd strongly supports the concept of pet insurance and for holders of policies with selected companies, we are sometimes able to offer a direct claim service. This will need to be agreed by the senior veterinarian. A member of staff will inform you if your policy meets this criteria. For holders of policies with other companies, we aim to process claim forms within 7 days of receipt, unless specifically requested not to do so.

FOR UNINSURED PETS, FULL PAYMENT IS REQUESTED AT THE TIME OF CONSULTATION, OR IF THE PET IS ADMITTED, ON COLLECTION. WE DO NOT OPERATE AN ACCOUNTS SYSTEM.

PAYMENT
We accept payment by cash, credit card and debit card. The cards we accept are Maestro, Solo, Mastercard, Visa, and Visa Electron.

PRESCRIPTIONS
Legalisation requires that we must examine your pet routinely when they are on long term medication. This will normally be between 3 to 6 months depending on the drugs and the condition treated. This is a reduced price consultation and is to ensure your pet is responding well to the medication and is not developing any side effects or other conditions. If you wish to order a repeat prescription we require 24 hours notice so we can have your medication available for you when you come to the practice. Unfortunately all drugs are non refundable once they have left the practice, however we can dispose of any unwanted medicines free of charge. You may reuest a written prescription from the practice and obtain the medicines from another Veterinary Surgery or Pharmacy, there is a fee for this service.

OUT OF HOURS SERVICE
In an emergency please call the practice on the normal telephone numbers (01625 572999 or 01625 669666) and listen to the answer phone message for instructions. We have a contract with Vets Now to provide our out of ours cover for our registered clients.  Vets Now take over from us when we close in the evenings and at the weekends from Saturday lunchtime onwards. It is always best to call us first as we will either be there to answer your call, or will have an answer machine message with Vets Now's details for you. Vets Now can give you advice over the phone and arrange immediate appointments to see them if it is required. The Vets Now surgery is located within the building of Wright and Morten Veterinary Surgery however, they employ their own staff and have no connection to them as a Veterinary Practice.
