
Nick was born in Chapel-en-le-Frith, and grew up on a farm in the hills above Bollington. He qualified from Cambridge University Veterinary School in 1994, initially working mainly as a large animal veterinary surgeon before concentrating on small animals. Nick spent two years abroad working in Australia and New Zealand, before returning to settle in Bollington.

Mandi Qualified from Liverpool University in 1988 and attained a certificate in Veterinary Dermatology {skin disease} in 1992. Mandi lives in Bollington with an assortment of creatures including tropical fish, 2 cats, 3 goldfish, a 9 year old daughter and last but not least her husband. Mandi has been working with us since November 2003.

Liz qualified from Bristol University in 1989 and obtained a GP certificate in Feline Medicine in 2005. She lives just outside Buxton with 2 cats, 2 rescue dogs and her husband. Liz enjoys horse riding and in 2006 became British and English Veteran Fell Running Champion.

Amy Qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2003. She is a trained Pet Insurance Advisor and has an interest in animal behaviour. She has been working at Bollington Vets since 2004. Amy lives in Macclesfield with her partner Dave, rescue dog Stanley, cats Ollie, Archie, Pearl and Boris and rabbits Philadelphia and Flumpy.

A fully qualified veterinary nurse since 1999, Rachel is also a qualified Pet Insurance Advisor and Pet Nutritional Advisor. She is a keen horse rider, she lives locally with her partner, her sons Matthew and Jack, and Wallace the cat. Rachel has been working with Nick since the start of Bollington Vets in March 2003.

Wendy has been Vet Nursing since 1988 and has lived and worked in various places up and down the country. At home she lives with Roxy her GSD Cross, Denzil the cat who arrived on her doorstep in Cornwall, and 2 rescued rabbits Frank and Peggy who are partially sighted.

Jane joined the practice in February 2008, she has always had a keen interest in animals and changed career 3 years ago to pursue her interest. Jane lives with her partner Mike and Doberman Zac. She loves walking, camping and horse riding.

Clare has worked at the practice since March 2003 as a part time receptionist and she has certificates in pet nutrition. She lives in Bollington with her husband, three daughters and the family gerbils. She enjoys walking, jogging and reading.

Kate has been nursing animals since 1991 and is a Pet Health Councillor. She lives in Bollington, has a daughter Charlotte, a rescue dog called Woody,and an assortment of other small animals. Kate started at Bollington Vets shortly after we opened in 2003. She has a keen interest in horse riding, canoeing and hill walking.

Jill joined the practice in 2007 as an evening receptionist. She lives locally with her husband Keith. She also works voluntarily for the Macclesfield Cats Protection providing invaluable help rescuing and rehoming unwanted cats and kittens.

Marion joined us in January 2008 as an evening receptionist. She has lived in Bollington all her life so I'm sure many of you will already recognise her. Marion enjoys walking and caravaning.

Ginny joined us recently as an evening receptionist. She lives in Bollington with her husband and Dusty her dog. She enjoys keeping fit by walking Dusty, running and attending the gym.
