Microchipping

Most owners realise the importance of having a collar and tag on their pet, but these can easily become lost. Should your pet then stray or become stolen you have no reliable way of identifying them.

Microchips are the easiest form of permanent identification. A tiny microchip is placed under the skin (no more stressful than a normal vaccination). This contains a unique bar code which can be read at vets, animal sanctuaries and police stations.

Your details are registered on a national database that can quickly reunite you with your pet.
